2017 Charity Christmas Trees

Christmas is almost upon us again and our thoughts turn to those we love and more poignantly to those who won’t be here to share it with us.

Each year throughout December, at both our Swinton and Kimberworth branches we put up our memorial Christmas trees for families to hang a message for their loved ones.

This tradition is a source of comfort to many of us not only as a way to keep them in our hearts at a time when we feel their absence deeply, but also as a way for the funds raised by each small donation to benefit the charities that these monies go to.

To date we have raised over £1500 for local charities and this year these funds will go to the Weston Park Cancer Charity who will use them not only to maintain the hospitals high standards of care in supporting their patients but also to make innovative methods of treatment possible.
