2022 Charity Christmas Tree's
The festive season is upon us once again and in keeping with our annual tradition we will be putting up our charity Christmas trees at our Swinton and Kimberworth offices from the 1st December.
As most of our families know, this is a long-standing tradition here at Butterfields. It gives families somewhere to hang a message of love and remembrance for relatives, friends, or colleagues who are no longer here to share this season with us, a time synonymous with families gathering.
We know many of you find this tradition a huge comfort, a small moment to reflect and to have a few minutes of quiet in our tranquil memorial garden & gallery at Swinton or in the peaceful setting of our Kimberworth office.
This year the contributions made by you all will be donated to fund the building of St Margaret's Parish Church Community Hall, Swinton, who we have chosen as this year’s charity. Life is not always rosy for people, with many single, lonely people young & old, finding it difficult to engage with the wider community. This has been exacerbrated by the impact of the pandemic in the last two years. To help address these issues, the vicar of Swinton - Father Barley - has exciting plans to buildthe community hall with facilities fit for the 21st century.
We thank you in anticipation of your continuing support of our local charities and of us here at Butterfields.
