A Big Thank You To Everyone!

The Butterfield family would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along to support our coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. We gratefully received donations of homemade cakes, raffle & tombola prizes including a beautiful bouquet from Artisan Flowers and of course some mouth watering cakes & scones were provided especially for everyone. We raised a fantastic £600 to help those living with cancer and fund the fine work of the Macmillan Nurses, a very worthy cause.

It was so nice to meet members of our local community and clients old and new in the cozy setting of our Tea Rooms, which are usually the venue for funeral teas, memorial services and celebration of life ceremonies.

Guests were also given guided tours of our beautiful tranquil memorial garden and memorial show room by David Butterfield and staff and guests also enjoyed hearing about the history of our family and seeing our vintage horse drawn hearse used in days gone by in our newly built coach house (Brian Butterfield’s project ahead of our 150th anniversary celebrations next year).

This really was a day to remember so thank you once again to all who made it happen.

The Butterfield family are so very proud to be a part of Swinton & the local community, not only providing excellent services in taking care of your loved ones, but also in giving something back to our cherished community and local people, long will it continue.
