Important Information on Coronavirus

C T Butterfields will continue to provide funeral services to the local community during this pandemic. We remain committed to delivering a caring and dignified service, whilst providing you with our support, care and compassion to the very best of our ability within the government guidelines.

Our priority is to keep you and our colleagues safe to ensure we can continue serving the community. We are taking every precaution to ensure this happens but we also need your help in complying with the new regulations.

We are adhering to government advice and as you are aware this can change daily; we will post any updates that are relevant in these ever changing times.

We are also affected by the policies and procedures that are being adopted by the people with whom we regularly work with, such as Crematoria, Churches, Cemeteries, Hospitals, Hospices and Coroners.

To ensure the wellbeing of our visitors and staff we have put the following measures in place:

• All visitors and staff entering our funeral homes will be asked to wear a face covering upon entry and understandably we will refrain from hand shaking at this time.
• Funeral arrangements will be conducted over the phone or limited visitors will be allowed into our premises, we are not allowed to arrange funerals in clients own homes.
• Viewings of deceased in the Chapel of Rest are restricted and by prior appointment only.
• The number of people attending a funeral service will be determined by the venue itself and the policies being adopted by individual crematoria etc.
• We will not be providing any outside catering at this time.
• All charitable donations should be made online.
