COVID 19 UPDATE

We thought it an appropriate time to do a brief update of our current working practices under the current COVID19 restrictions.

Both of our funeral homes here at Swinton and Kimberworth are open & COVID secure with a range of measures taken to ensure both your safety and the safety of our staff.

We have an appointment system for anybody wanting to visit us in person & also for visiting the chapel of rest. Please call ahead to arrange any face to face appointment where necessary. We continue to ask if your business can be conducted over the phone or by email then please continue to do so for the safety of everyone.

Face coverings must be worn at all times and hands sanitised upon entering our buildings. We have the NHS Track and Trace QR Codes placed strategically around our premises and ask that you scan these upon arrival or alternatively please provide your details for our track and trace record book so that we remain compliant with the regulations to keep you safe.

We are regularly conducting deep and thorough cleaning of all areas within our premises and our fleet of vehicles with a dedicated fogging machine to ensure our building and vehicles remain virus free.

When our limousines are on funerals there will be no more than 6 passengers allowed in the vehicle. The front passenger seat next to the driver will not be able to carry any family member and our screens between the drivers and mourners in the back will remain in place at all times. All passengers who are transported must be from the same household or support bubble in each individual limousine. Masks are to be worn at all times unless there is a valid medical reason not to do so, in which case if possible then the wearing of a visor would be appreciated. Disposable masks are available in every vehicle to anybody who may have forgotten to bring one. Hands must be sanitised before entering the vehicles.

Our limousines are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each

use to ensure the safety of you all.

At present the number of mourners is fluctuating between different crematoria and churches but we can give you a more accurate picture at the appropriate stage of the arrangements. Donation boxes are not allowed either in the crematoriums or churches, but you may set up your own just giving page on line.

We respectfully ask that you work with us to implement the measures we have in place to ensure we can continue to serve you to the very best of our abilities.

The situation, as it has always been during this pandemic is ever evolving, we will do our best to try to keep you abreast of the current legislation as it happens. We may be required to change or implement different practices as we go through the coming weeks and months ahead but we will continue to provide you with the care and compassion you deserve during your loss amidst these unprecedented times.
