Easter 2024

The Easter Holidays will soon be here, a time of year which means different things to each of us.

To some it is very much a period of celebrating the religious festival of reading the Easter story and spending time in reflection and prayer.

To others, including many children, it is a time of school holidays, spending free time in the creative activity of designing Easter bonnets and painting cards. For youngsters it can be a magical time, filled with Easter egg hunts, stories of the Easter bunny and of course the eating of chocolate eggs.

It may well be a time when you gather your family around the dining table for a festive celebration dinner to enjoy the sharing of news and achievements.

And to others it may be a time of grief over lost loved ones … those who remain in our hearts, but are no longer in our lives. Perhaps fondly recalling the Easter holidays we spent together in days gone by.
