Mexborough Church, Xmas Tree

A joyful evening was enjoyed by many local residents and regular members of the congregation at the annual carol service at St John’s Church, Mexborough on Sunday Evening.

Butterfields were proud to sponsor the beautiful tree which can be seen adorning the church.

David attended the concert and was delighted to have been asked to give a Christmas reading as part of the ceremony.

Afterwards the children attending were presented with chocolate bunnies and Father Ed invited adults to partake of mince pies & mulled wine in the church hall.

David is pictured with Father Ed at the end of the evening, they would both like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and best wishes for the New Year.
