Our Christmas Message To You All
Christmas is an achingly painful time for those who have lost a loved one.
There is so much emphasis all around on it being a time for family, of sharing the joy of the season and feeling the warmth and love of our friends and family all around us. Understandably this makes it a particularly poignant reminder of how isolating and lonely this time of year can be.
This year due to the pandemic, many of us will be feeling the physical absence of our loved ones at our tables due to having smaller gatherings, health and travel restrictions etc, so it is a perfect opportunity to appreciate; even if only in some small way of just how difficult a permanent loss is for those that are bereaved. To live with “The empty chair” year-round is one of the most difficult things anyone will ever face.
We understand It can be hard for people to know how to act or know what to say around those that are grieving but some caring words and an acknowledgement of the person they have lost goes a very long way.
To all of our families, past and present we wish you peace, hope and good health.
