Swinton Church Xmas Events

The Butterfield family were delighted to attend the concert on Friday evening held by Father Barley at St Margaret's Parish Church, titled ‘ Songs of The Season’ it featured Kilnhurst Community Choir and Soloists. It was a beautiful evening and we were thoroughly entertained with Christmas songs old and new performed by Jenny and her talented choir. Proceeds were in aid of St Margaret’s Church Community Hall Project.

And again the Butterfield family enjoyed another marvellous evening at St Margaret's Parish Church on Sunday 18th December. The event ‘The Parish Carol Service’ featured the talented Bel Canto Choir. The evening was lead and hosted by Father Barley, David Butterfield was honoured to perform a reading as part of the Christmas Story.

This Thursday evening (22nd) the church will be holding a memorial service for those who have lost a loved one. … all are welcome at 7pm.
